The DYMO RHINO 18053 / S0718280 Heat-Shrink Tubing is an industrial cable-identification cassette designed for printing durable identification directly onto heat-shrink tubing. It produces black text on a white background, helping technicians identify individual wires and cables clearly in electrical installations, control panels, network cabinets, machinery and maintenance environments.
The cassette contains 1.5 metres of printable polyolefin tubing with a 9 mm width and a 3:1 heat-shrink ratio. After printing, the tubing is placed over a suitable wire or cable and heated so it contracts around the cable, forming a close-fitting identification sleeve. This provides a neat, professional alternative to conventional adhesive labels for cable marking.
The black-on-white print offers strong contrast for readable identification during installation, servicing and troubleshooting. The tubing is designed for industrial applications and is resistant to moisture, oil, UV exposure, chemicals and abrasion. Its flame-retardant construction and specified performance standards make it suitable for professional cable-identification work where durability and reliable marking are important.

Recommended applications
Identifying electrical wires and cables
Marking conductors inside control panels
Organising network and communications wiring
Identifying cables in machinery and industrial equipment
Supporting electrical installation, inspection and maintenance
Choose tubing according to the cable's outside diameter. Slide the tube onto the cable before fitting any connector that is too large to pass through it, then use an appropriate heat source in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
